Six standalone roots in the regional list
The cross-checked Early Access list contains six standalone Shroud Roots in Albaneve Summits. The named locations come from community regional references, rather than a developer-authored route walkthrough. Treat this as a versioned checklist and check it against the world you are playing.
The first locations are west of Wickmouth, inside Camellia Lake Marble Quarry and north of Balefire Garrison “White Pine”. The other locations are beneath Polaris Falls, south of the Enshrouded Goat Farm and at Gateway Outpost “Celeste”. These are landmark descriptions, so the diagram does not claim precise coordinates.

Prepare for mountain exploration
Activate a usable regional travel point before setting out. Prepare for cold and Shroud exposure, then mark the six destinations as a checklist. A list of objectives does not establish a safe shortest route between them.
Use the map guide to select the relevant objective category. Keep your return point visible while considering a mountain approach. Developer mountain-update notes provide regional context, but they do not independently verify every community marker.
- Activate the Albaneve Summits travel point and prepare for cold and Shroud exposure.
- Mark the six named locations as a checklist.
- At Polaris Falls and the quarry, check below surface level.
- Destroy each root and record that character's completion.
- Keep Elixir Wells on a separate list so roots are not double-counted.
Check below the surface
At Polaris Falls, the root is described as beneath the falls. At Camellia Lake Marble Quarry, check inside the quarry instead of treating its surface label as the exact objective. Search the relevant lower area when you reach the landmark.
This vertical distinction matters when a map marker appears to put you in the correct place. Read the named location alongside the marker instead of inventing a coordinate conversion. The same general entrance-checking approach is useful for the Hollow Halls location.
Record completion without double-counting
Destroy each root and record that character’s completion. Keep Elixir Wells and Shroud Lairs in separate categories, because the standalone-root list is not a combined total of every Shroud objective. This prevents a regional checklist from appearing complete for the wrong reason.
Shroud Roots also matter when discussing skill points. Character level and exploration rewards are different measurements, so a level-cap answer should not substitute for objective tracking. The supplied videos identify regional routes, but no full subtitle route or shortest-path test was obtained.
