Use the Revelwood landmark route
Amber is mined from colored veins in the Revelwood Shroud. A current community reference identifies the cavity between Abandoned Hunter Camp and Hidden Hollow Tomb, north of the Revelwood Ancient Spire. Start with this landmark relationship rather than an old screenshot of a single vein.
The independent written reference also places Amber in Revelwood’s Shrouded terrain. Its older exact deposits should still be checked against the current world. The map guide explains how to connect those named landmarks with your available travel points.
Prepare for mining inside the Shroud
Bring a repaired pickaxe and plan a safe exit before entering. Unlock a convenient Revelwood travel point where available, then find the cavity between the camp and tomb. Keep enough Shroud time for returning rather than spending the entire trip at a deposit.
If your Shroud time seems unexpectedly reduced, check for an active debuff. The Fell Curse guide explains a documented cause and its researched cure. Do not assume every shortened expedition is simply a problem with the normal timer.
- Unlock a convenient Revelwood travel point.
- Bring a repaired pickaxe and plan a safe exit.
- Find the cavity between Abandoned Hunter Camp and Hidden Hollow Tomb.
- Look for colored Amber veins and verify the gathered item's name.
- Leave sufficient Shroud time for the return route.
Verify the gathered item and its use
Look for colored Amber veins and verify the item name after gathering. Amber supports progression and equipment recipes, so read the recipe before deciding how much to mine. The research does not establish a fixed yield or one required amount for every crafting task.
A Revelwood trip may involve more than one material, but each needs its own location check. The clay guide describes differently colored deposits and a separate landmark route. The Goo guide describes a crafted material rather than an Amber mining substitute.
Account for changed deposits
Deposit positions and appearance have changed during earlier updates. The older ESO video is useful as historical Shroud-mining context, not a guarantee that its exact node remains in the full release. The newer video is a route lead, but the written landmark description is the basis retained here.
The diagram summarizes region, landmark and exit preparation. It supplies no reset exploit or guarantee of repeated material yield. Use the visible world and your current map to confirm the vein once you reach the researched area.
